PAM St Gobain and his subsidiaries are the first world exporters of pipe in ductile cast iron (cast iron with graphite sphéroilade,FGS)are a member of industries of the steel industry and constitue the branch pipe of the pole produced for the construction.
The factory of Pont à Mousson celebrated his 150 years. It was create in 1854 following the discovery of iron ore during the construction of the railroad line Nancy Metz
The research center and development was creat in 1934 by the company PAM and he is installed since 1967 on the site of Maidières. The mission of the research center PAM is to improve the offer and industrial performance of the branch "pipe" of St Gobain.
